It's been brought to my attention, that not everyone out there may know the little acronyms used when discussing Disney on the web. So, submitted for your approval, here is a small, but ongoing list of the acronyms you can expect to see both online, and possibly even in the parks:
WDW = Walt Disney World
DL = Disneyland
MK = Magic Kingdom
DHS = Disney Hollywood Studios (formerly known as MGM)
EPCOT = Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow (almost always referred to as EPCOT. In it's early years, it was known as EPCOT center.)
AK = Animal Kingdom
DTD = Downtown Disney
DCL = Disney Cruise Line
ADR = Advance Dining Reservations
MS(or MSUSA) = Main Street, USA
AL = Adventureland
FL = Frontierland or Florida, depending on the context
LS = Liberty Square
FL = Fantasyland
TL = Tomorrowland
NOS = New Orleans Square (Disneyland)
CC = Critter Country (Disneyland)
PotC = Pirates of the Caribbean
HM = Haunted Mansion
NBC/TNBC/NBX = Nightmare Before Christmas (You see this a lot in reference to pins and Halloween decor)
BatB= Beauty and the Beast (Seen a lot in messages boards in reference to the new expansion)
FLE = Fantasyland Expansion
CM = Cast Member (Disney employees are referred to as Cast Members)
DVC = Disney Vacation Club
CBR = Caribbean Beach Resort
BLT = Bay Lake Tower
BFH = Big F'ing Hat (also known at the Sorcerer's Hat at DHS)
D23 = Official Disney Fan Club
ToL = Tree of Life
SSE = Spaceship Earth
ToT = Tower of Terror
