Oh, Happy Day!

Hello again, Mousekateers!

I'm finally back from the beautiful North Carolina. The best part? We'll be getting a change of scenery very soon and will becoming North Carolinians! :)

On Friday, I had a second interview with a non-profit organization. I was incredibly nervous, but I was comforted once I arrived by the two ladies that I'll be working with directly. It felt more like I was sitting in a room talking with friends than participating in an interview. About an hour and a half later, I walked out to meet my mom with a huge smile on my face. Over the next 45 minutes or so, I went over the interview time and time again, second guessing every single answer I had given, any moves I made that may have been miscommunicated, and literally every single thing I had said. Thankfully, the phone call saved me from myself!

I am EXTREMELY excited to be able to move closer to my family, but also to join such a fun team. I'm looking forward to facing new challenges and learning new things. I think I am going to do really well in this position and feel that the match is just as good for me, too.

So, in about 2 weeks, we will be packing up and moving to the state of BBQ, magnolias, and basketball. It's going to be tough to leave family and friends here in Wisconsin, but I'm looking forward to being able to start a new chapter in my life. It's going to be interesting. It's going to be stressful. But, I have the support of the people who matter most, and I know they'll be the ones backing me up during those stressful times.

(PS- It's only  hours from our new location to the front gates of the Magic Kingdom. Not that I've looked into it or anything.)

Keep your fingers crossed for me- I submit my 2 weeks' notice tomorrow!

For now, I have a ton of packing to get done. I'm also going to take some time to enjoy the Grammys and being home with the hubby and the pets. Enjoy your evening!
