My apologies for being away for a few days- I've been rather lazy and wanted to enjoy it :)
We also continued with a tradition here in our family- we put up our Christmas tree on our anniversary weekend! Yeah, some people think it might be early, but who cares?! Who's business is it really when we choose to put it up? It's not like they need to see it every day. We love the holiday season, and it makes us happy. We're not hurting anyone, so it goes up around this time each year.
Another tradition we have is the Disney ornament tradition. It started in 2006 on our honeymoon. We picked up a "Just Married" ornament from the Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom, and it started it's own tradition. Each year, we or someone we know, gets and ornament from Disney to add to the collection. Since we did not get a chance to make it to Disney this year (Boooo), my bestie and her hubby were kind enough to help us continue by choosing an ornament for us from the same shop that started it all. So, let me introduce you to our little collection!

ReplyDeleteWe have a Thanksgiving tradition, where each year we draw hand-turkeys and color them together (we have them from each year we've been together).
As for Christmas... We like to go on a drive to look at Christmas lights after we decorate our own tree. :-)
